Jay is a co-founder and principal of Zelkova Ventures, a New York based venture capital firm focused on investing in early stage software-as-a-service, internet media and green tech companies. Prior to joining Zelkova, Jay was involved in founding and running several online and technology businesses. Jay also worked for Morgan Stanley on the development of their separately managed account business. Jay has been a recipient of the Crain’s top 5 Entrepreneurs to Watch in New York and received the 40 under 40 Award from Westchester County. Jay earned his BA degree from Rutgers University.
Stephen is a shareholder and Board member. Stephen began his Wall Street career as environmental services equity research analyst with Alex Brown & Sons in Baltimore. Stephen spent over a decade in London where he headed the European operations of Robertson Stephens & Company and served on the firm’s Executive Committee. Stephen is currently a Managing Director with M&A advisory firm Mooreland Partners where he focuses on cross border transactions for emerging technology companies. Stephen is an active investor, and serves on several private company Boards including Credo Capital, Global Bay Mobile Technologies and Cypak AB. Stephen holds a BA from Amherst College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
